COPE Index Page

The Doberman Pinscher Club of America COPE/Rescue Committee (“COPE”) solicits funds to help support Doberman Rescue throughout the United States. COPE distributes funds to individuals and Doberman Rescue organizations who request reimbursement for certain medical expenses incurred for rescue Dobermans in their care.  COPE provides information to assist people in establishing and operating Doberman Rescue groups and maintains a list of Doberman Rescue individuals and organizations.  COPE encourages responsible Doberman Pinscher ownership by educating actual and prospective Doberman Pinscher owners concerning the problems of overpopulation and abandonment.

This site is designed be a resource for Rescuers, Adopters, Placement, and Doberman Rescue Supporters.

  • An Adopter is someone looking for a Doberman Pinscher to adopt into their family.
  • Placement is where a Doberman Rescuer helps put a person needing to get rid of a dog into contact with an Adopter.
  • Supporters are people who help COPE financially and politically.
